SPRING IS SPRINGING! You know what that means....pollen, wind, and ozone! Just a few of my favorite things!!!! jkjk

But seriously, the days are warmer and longer. Maybe you don't need vitamin D anymore and are finding excuses to be outside again. Maybe you are ready to start thinking about fall races and aren't sure where to begin. WE GOT YOU!

Don't Get Carried Away!

A strong fall is built in the spring, amirite? But once you start moving it can feel like everything is against you! The wind will slow you down, the pollen will make you sneeze, and most allergy meds will send your HR through the ROOF. Play around with the timing of your Zyrtec- my sweet spot is right before dinner. That gives my HR enough time to settle down so I can go to bed, and still feel the effects when I run the next morning. I take my next dose as I get ready to shower.

All that aside- it's still better than running in freezing fog in full dark at 5am!!

I hope you feel good, even GREAT! Just PLEASE don't get carried away with all the things and get hurt before St Patrick's Day! Let's take one step at a time, a stregnth plan OR a run plan. Then, let's wait a month or two before adding in more strength or more running, ok?
