The holidays can be tough. Many runners are as excited to have a break from training as they are nervous about the lack of structure. How are you supposed to savor your downtime without worrying about losing the fitness you’ve gained in the fall training cycle? How are you supposed to treat yourself amidst all the marketing for holiday weight-loss plans?
We can’t make it easy to get out of bed at 6am when it’s cold and dark and you don’t have a race on the calendar. What we can do is give you an excuse to run, and take away the guilt on the days you don't.
