Roasting and Smoking

I feel like a dang chicken!!!

It’s so hot outside, I can barely stand it! It’s roasting out there, so much so I can see smoke coming off my skin on my brief walk to the car in the mornings. This isn’t normal for Denver!!!

My workouts are happening earlier and earlier, which has me going to bed earlier and earlier too. Ironic because the sun stays up later and later and gets up earlier and earlier- just like my kids!

Summer might be trying to smoke me but I plan in fact to smoke summer! I’m not meal prepping, but my Instacart subscription gets me a free trial of the New York Times Cooking App, which has been surprisingly helpful and planning quick simple meals that don’t involve Dino chicken nuggets. I’m still working with my trainer, which make sure that at least twice a week I do things I would not do by Myself. Still don’t quite have a place to put all this work. I haven’t had a goal in a very long time, but this feels right it’s fun to do things just for the pure enjoyment of those things because otherwise – I wouldn’t be smoking summer I’d be smoking myself!

I’m sure absolutely none of you have any idea what that feels like 🤔😉

Rebuilders will have a fun progressive run/walk series with mountain climbers to get your heart rates up with minimal impact! These will help your fast twitch muscles remember how to move fast without flaring up any injuries!

When is the last time you sprinted?? Maintainers will get to do some sprints this month, as well as a PROPERLY CALCULATED ladder workout! (Sorry Corrina, I didn't catch your comment in time last month!!!!)
