Run Wild in May

Runners are WILD.

My job as coach is to connect dots for you. I love my job! This is not a complaint. Occasionally I have to explain to you that you are not wimps, and the fact that I have to AT ALL is just wild to me.

DOT: I KNOW I don't have to tell you that if a car hit you going 25 miles per hour, you would not be in good shape.

DOT: Wind is STRONG. It's much bigger than a car, and it changes directions far more frequently.

DOTS CONNECTED: when the weather report includes wind, pretend the speed is a car and decide if you'd rather stay indoors. It's not wimping out AT ALL. May is windy AF, at least in Colorado. We are still getting occasional snowstorms, and wind up to 70mph. I didn't take down my outdoor lights this year, the wind blew them away last week. That day I for sure stayed indoors.

Every decision you've ever made was the right one at the time. Any day you look at the weather report and decide to stay indoors is a GREAT DAY. It's adulting in action. Wind is a thing. Willpower is not. If you aren't sure, sign up for Office Hours and let me tell you how awesome you are.

*House Fleming has been watching "Turning Red" over and over, so this month's playlist reflects the BIG THUMPING energy of 90's music! If you enjoy, please let me know!

Have a little extra energy this month? I’m attaching my favorite arm series, my gift to you. Check out ourYouTube channel for a video demonstration!
