Dreaming of Cooler Weather


It is finally cooling off in Denver, and all my babies are back in school. Carpool is happening, and I am substitute teaching (CRAZY, right?!?). We are falling into lovely new rhythms and patterns and looking ahead to cooler weather, even though we aren’t waiting to enjoy pumpkin chai! Those start NOW!!!


No deep thoughts this month, just vibes. Recovery from the heat, the gentle rhythms of school mornings and early evenings, and football season starting up again (YAY for Friday Night Lights!)

This Month’s Workouts




Rebuilders will have a steady run with jumping jacks instead of strides. These will help your legs remember that quick turnover of running, strengthen your glutes, and get your heart racing!


Maintainers will have two fun HM Race Prep runs with longer intervals and active recoveries! Hopefully though it's cooler now and recovering is much easier than last month!
